How do you sew binding edges?
To create a flat edge along the bias tape, use an iron to press along the folded fabric. This is the area that wraps around the edge of the edge of the fabric. Sew along the edge of the binding. After you have pressed the edge, use your sewing machine to sew a straight stitch along the free edge of the bias tape.
How do you cut an angle for a corner?
Cut a 45-degree angle in a piece of trim with a miter saw. Turn the angle gauge clockwise until it is oriented to the left hand 45-degree angle setting. Then, position the trim to the right of the saw. Cut all the way through the trim to create the corner angle.
